Build: lithe
Distinguishing Marks: mole on her left cheek. The Chinese symbol for Fate tattoed on her shoulder.

PB: Bai Ling
Health
Disabilities/Handicaps: no physical disabilities. A few scars from battle and a few from the brutal rape she had at the hands of kidnappers (From the Triad).
Health in general – both mental and physical: Emotional baggage that would keep a psychiatrist busy for a lifetime. Suppressing emotions like that can't be healthy. Just a lot of baggage about Cedric, her father and her kidnapping that has turned her cold and clinical. If she let it all out one day, it could be a huge meltdown. She needs a psychiatrist. A team of them, actually.
Other: When she was 18, she was kidnapped, raped and tortured. The captors were after her father, who had gone into hiding. He had captured and was going to have convicted a very powerful gangster, and they tortured her to find out all they could.
They broke her mind, and she became an emotionless shell of a woman. The final nail was when they captured her father and killed him in cold blood before her eyes. She was brutally raped and left for dead by her captors.
She spent a year in a monastery in Tibet to help recover from the ordeal. Supposedly there to learn of ancient magic taught only by a reclusive order of monks, she instead learned of skills in martial arts that would help her bring down her father's killers. She also learned of many dark poisons and a few ancient Chinese spells that are quite obscure and would certainly be classed as 'dark' by the Ministry.
It was the Triad (the Chinese Muggle mafia) that had killed her father and captured her. Cho idolised her father and when he was gone she was devastated. First Cedric, now her father... she felt a little victimised.
She had a moral dilemma. Raised pureblood, but always with the belief that Muggles were fine in their own world, it had been Muggles that had killed her father. Yet just to confuse her, it had been Voldemort that had killed Cedric, and who had gone after Harry. She felt she could trust nobody, and turned in on herself. The only thing that kept her going was vengeance. She came back and worked as an Auror.
After returning to Hong Kong, she slowly infiltrated the group who had raped her (and killed dad), and killed them off one by one. When they were all gone, the rest of the Triad offered her work as an elite assassin. The Aurors also offered her a job as a hitwitch. She took both.
Personality
First Impression (others have of you): Quiet yet confident, reserved yet vibrant and friendly. Very exotic and sensual. Spoiled princess might come to mind.
General Behaviour: Cho comes across as the friendly, intelligent and popular girl she was back in school, albeit a little more reserved. In reality she has closed herself off to cope. She's cold and calculating and wouldn't hesitate to kill you where you stand if you crossed her. The teary and emo teenaged girl has gone.
Strengths: She is clinical and rational and can logically explain anything you want her to. This is a well trained façade and it would take a lot to get under it. Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. She is also quite adept at martial arts (not perfect, but very fast and gymnastic at them. Not quite 'Kill Bill', but very fast on her feet) She is very disciplined and regimented in her thinking. She confides in nobody any more.
Weaknesses: Cho can become emotional and will occasionally let those emotions rule her. if she starts to think too hard about her past, she can fall into a deep depression. She feels it is better to cut herself off from such feelings, and meditates every day to achieve this disassociation.
Habits: Meditates ever day. Does Tai Chi every morning. Rarely, if ever drinks alcohol.
Enjoys: she likes to exercise and work out. Enjoys challenges of the physical and mental kind (Doesn't play quidditch any more, but is still very athletic.)
Dislikes: Laziness and slobbery. Dislikes people who blindly follow a cause without good reason. She also dislikes Death Eaters and Muggles
Family
Spouse/partner (if applicable): none
Parents: Chu-Ling and Feng Chang
Sibling(s): none
Children: see her secret.
Bloodline: Pure, going back to the Tang Dynasty
Family History: Cho went home to Hong Kong after she left Hogwarts. Her father was a well placed Auror in the Hong Kong Ministry of Law Enforcement.
Pets: none. She might get an owl now she's back in town
Social/Romantic/Sexual
Close Friendships: she'll hook up with Padma again, and any other takers are tba.
Known Enemies: none from school. She will make a lot of enemies if they find out what she truly does.
Sexual Preference: Cho has cut herself off emotionally, knowing that love is a weakness. She finds sexual gratification where she can, and that is usually with another woman. She'll take a man if she has to, but women are far more satisfying.
Turn Ons: strength, disinterested in anything beyond getting off
Turn Offs: love or anyone who wants commitment.
Past Relationships: Cedric Diggory, Harry Potter. There was a few boyfriends back in Hong Kong after she went home, but they all thought her too teary and emotional.
What they think about sex and love: Cho is done with love. it only leads to heartache. Sex is very necessary to relieve tension. Domineering someone sexually is thrilling and fun.
Other: Cho lost her virginity to Cedric the night before the final task of the Triwizard Tournament. She had been hopelessly and romantically in love with him. It was why she was even more devastated than usual by his death. Now, after her brutal rape and after losing everyone she ever loved, she's turned sex into a game. She was tired of feeling the victim and things evolved to a point now where being a dominatrix helps her cope. Of course, she gets as much of a thrill out of this as her
Magical
Wand Type: Holly, dragon scale (from a Chinese fireball) 11 inches.
Magical talents: Arithmancy, Runes and Astronomy, are her strengths of the traditional magical disciplines. She excelled at those subjects. Her defensive spells were much better after her time with the DA. A typical Ravenclaw, she will still be on the lookout for new knowledge.
Magical weaknesses/aversions (what your character can't or won't do): Cho dislikes getting her hands dirty, or magical creatures. Herbology and potions were not her strongest subjects. She will brew out of necessity, and is very fluent in the theory of most potions, but dislikes the actual preparation and making of potions.
First sign of magic – when and what: Cho summoned a golden monkey from behind the barrier of a Muggle Zoo back in Beijing. She was four and wanted to play with the monkey. Her parents said no, and she cried and carried on until she got what she wanted. The monkey was quickly returned to the enclosure and the Muggles obliviated.
Boggart: Cedric's dead body
Knows how to Apparate (y/n): yes
Knows how to cast a patronus (y/n – if yes what?): yes - a Swan
Knows how to use the unforgivables (y/n): yes - and a whole lot worse
Other: Cho is fluent in many forms of martial arts, and is constantly working to maintain her speed and stamina. She is far from perfect at it, and it frustrates her to have limitations. She strives for perfection constantly, and never quite meets her exacting standards. She's also well versed in some rather obscure magic from China, much of it not practised in the modern world due to its rather dark nature.
Schooling:
Year: (in relation to Harry's year) 1 year ahead of Harry
House: Ravenclaw
Other Affiliations: The DA, chess club, Ravenclaw Quidditch team
Best subject(s): Arithmancy, Runes and Astronomy
Poor subject(s): Herbology, Muggle Studies, Divination and Care of Magical Creatures. The divination was flaky, and bore no correspondence to the ancient chinese horoscope.
Electives she would have taken: Runes, Arithmancy, Divination, Care of Magical Creatures.
Best Mates: Marietta Edgecombe, Padma Patil (? Luna Lovegood ?), any other studious Ravenclaws
Romantic interests: Cedric Diggory, Harry Potter
Level of education reached (do your characters have OWLs/NEWTs – none of the above? Have they gone on to some type of training? Remember that there is no wizarding uni and that there is a war going on): Cho started training as an Auror back in Hong Kong after leaving school, but her studies were soon stopped when she was kidnapped and brutally raped. She returned to her studies after a year and has worked as a hitwitch for the Hong Kong aurors for a few years.
Financial
Current Occupation: Cho is being paid as an auror, and has come back to England to work under the Foreign Auror exchange program.
Other Occupations (side incomes, volunteer work, illegal activities): She became an assassin for hire, not loyal to either side, but rarely, if never failing in her missions. She is returning to England because the call came out for Foreign Aurors, and she accepted a place.
Monetary Situation: Cho's family are very asset and gold wealthy. This war did not stretch past the UK, so all her assets are still accessible back in Hong Kong. She is independently wealthy.
Other: Cho's work as a hitwitch has made her a very popular assassin back in her homeland. She's been brought to England to actually make a hit on a prominent member of the wizarding community, and the work as the Auror was just a front.
Current situation
Affiliations & Organisations: None. Cho is loyal to herself alone.
Faction this character supports: None. She dislikes Death Eaters and she dislikes Muggles. If she really had to put herself in a slot, it would be to support the ministry in getting the wizarding world back the way it was before Voldemort.
Role in the ongoing war: Working as an Auror back in the UK. Will happily kill Death Eaters in battle. Will also happily kill bad Muggles. But her real role is as a high placed assassin, and she hopes to get a job to take out someone high profile on either side of the fence.
Finally
What is your character's deepest, darkest secret (one that other game characters probably wouldn't know and that he/she would prefer they didn't find out about) Also list the names of anyone who might know, or might be suspicious of this knowledge:
The big secret is her true work as an assassin for hire. Only those on in the underground, and with the right contacts will know that there is an assassin in town, and if you're lucky, you'll get to meet her real identity.
She has a child back in Hong Kong. She isn't emotionally attached to the child at all as she adopted it out, and she suspects it was a product of the rape. But she does know the child is a halfblood, and has been placed with Muggle foster carers. Cho is not the maternal type.
